The Time We Have: A Conversation Between Brothers is a game about what it means to be a brother—about all the complexity, vulnerability, and joy that comes with it. This is a storytelling card game played on opposite sides of a closed door and a conversation about saying goodbye.
This two-player TTRPG guides you through the tragic and intimate story of two brothers and the final days before one of you turns. Take turns drawing cards, asking questions, and processing this change together. Once the door is closed, your story begins. In the end, it is up to the surviving brother: Do you open the door?

Can I ask when the next batch of community copies will be launched? Me and my friend would like to play this, but neither can afford it, unfortunately. Thanks in advance.
This game looks amazing. I really need to play it a couple times. Congrats on making it and thanks for the community copy.
hey! is this available on other currencies or is there any way i can get a free copy? maybe a discount even? i stumbled on this game on instagram and I've been obsessed with it, like I really want to play it with everybody I know, but I live in Brazil and the price in dollars, even for the digital edition, is a little too much :(
Added some community copies!
omg omg omg I'm losing my sh!t I cannot thank you enough your game is AMAZING
I created an itch.io account just to leave this review.
Wow, just, what an amazing experience.
I met Eliot at a recent Tabletop Gaming Expo and his infectious enthusiasm sold me on the “game”.
I used quotations as it’s not so much a game, where there’s a winner and a loser, or a stated goal to “win”. It’s more of a storytelling experience, a jumpstart for one’s creativity abiding by the loose world built within the cards dealt.
It tests your creativity, your ability to think on the fly and build a narrative that fits. Most importantly, it allows you to be immersed within this world, while demanding you draw upon your real-life experience to continue the story in a natural way.
Highly recommend for any pair looking for a different experience.
You know it's a great game when all the community copies have gone 😁
when will you restock the standard copies? :(
Thank you for making this game and sending me a bonus door card for the "Goose Virus." A great way to make me laugh and get excited again for this game.
Do you happen to have any Australian stockists? I'd love to play it.
I don't at the moment but if you have any stores near you that you like you could direct them to Studio 2 or Peregrine Coast Press for retail distribution
Listened to an actual play at the Rene Plays Games podcast and absolutely adored it.
